From the moment King Arthur starts, you know Jerry Bruckheimer had a hand in it. The early 90’s was a sad time for the Horror Genre, with not much being released and even less being watchable. In 1996 horror legend Wes Craven stepped in with a little film that set the pace for the rest of the decade. Given the wildly unanticipated success of the Scream Franchise, simular films such as Urban Legend, Valentine and yes, I Know What You Did Last Summer were released, hoping to cash in on the new trend. As they all turned a decent profit, Scream spawned Scream 2, Urban Legend moreTimbuk2’s Hemlock and Q Backpacks Have Swing Around Easy Access to Your Laptop [Bags]

Ever wonder what would happen if you locked some screenwriters in a room with a history of man, an Old Testament, some really potent pot and a tape recorder? Ever wonder what would happen if that were made into a movie? “Year One,” the new buddy comedy starring Jack Black and Michael Cera, seems to be trying to answer these burning questions in this turn-back-the-clock, take-a-look-at-our- ancestors fable with fart jokes. I am looking between these flat monitors now for my desktop. They are essentially the same size, but the first monitor is about $10 more (both have free shipping, so just think they are the same price). Take a look: ViewSonic VX2233wm Black 21.5" 5ms Widescreen: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824116396&Tpk=VX2233wm Or Acer X223Wbd Black 22": http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009145&Tpk=X223Wbd The reviews are pretty evenly mixed for both of them and they will both fit well under my desk. I'll be using the monitor mostly for homework (engineer major with emphasis on design, so a monitor with good color will help a lot), movies, and some gaming (nothing too hardcore). What's your opinion? Thanks The Viewsonic has a couple of complaints about the backlight bleeding (while it happens in most LCDs, it can get bad with viewsonic), but there also seems to be a lot of problems (based on the numerous reviews) for the Acer and it's powering on. I'm leaning towards Viewsonic, but a second/third opinion will be appreciated. moreResolved Question: Please review this book im writing! thanks (:?
This is part of the book im writing called "Watch Your Back" im only 14 so it might not be very well written and this is not edited yet. When he was driving away is stood there watching him. As i was walking back to my house i felt someone grab my arm. I jumped a little and turned to see who it was. It was Adam. "Oh, hey what are you doin here?" i asked nervously. "What are you doing with Nate?" " I just went to see a movie with him and some of his friends, why?" "Well your not his girlfriend your mine." "No im not! Just because we are going to the dance together dosent meen we are dating." "Then why did you ask me if you didnt want to date me?" He asked in a angry voice "Well i wasnt goin to but Emily thought i was goin to so she asked for me. And i didnt want to hurt your feelings." "Well goin with another guy to the movies kinda hurt my feelings dont you think." "Im really sorry. But i have to go inside now so bye." "No!" "What do you mean no." "This is what i mean!" He said as he grabbed my arm and threw me to the ground with force. "Owww! What the hell are you doin?" I screamed. "You backstabbed me!! How could you do that? I thought you loved me!" He kicked my stomach as hard as he could. Then lifted me up by my hair and dragged me behind my house to the woods. "What are you doing?" He didnt say anything he just threw me into a pile of leafs and twigs. "If you dont go to the dance with me im goin to kill you and Nate." Then he punched me so hard i blacked out. When i woke up me cell phone said it was 12:23 am, so i figured my aunt was already sleeping. As i walked to my house my ribs felt broken, acutally i could barely walk. When i got into the house i went straight the the bathroom mirrior. My face was bloody and i could see the bruise coming. I should of listened to Emily and Avril when they warned me. Thanks for reading.... hope you liked it. (: moreResolved Question: Which LCD monitor should I get?

I was planning on seeing the movie "year one" tomorrow but I have been reading multiple reviews for it and they are all saying that it is absolutely horrible. My dad, brother and I love Jack Black and Michael Cera. And we're up for any movie that has some good laughs to it. But, I looked up it's rating and reviews: RATING: It's PG-13 for crude and sexual content throughout? What does that mean? Is there a sex scene? REVIEWS: The previews look sooo funny and Jack Black NEVER dissapoints but is the movie worth seeing if you're bored and want a good laugh? Get back to me as soon as possible. I wrote a review article for journalism, and only had about two hours for it. What age group/grade would you think wrote this? (Also, please keep an open mind despite your opinions on the topic) - Imagine waltzing into a clothing store and immediately being hit with the fragrant smell of the sweet yet alluring scent of Gloomy Bear fragrance super-sweet Invader Zim perfume and the indescribable aroma of Twilight spray. You quickly register the aromas in your head as you begin listening to the music. It’s a fantastic, unusual song by any band from Nevershoutnever!, All Time Low, Cartel, Slipknot, My Chemical Romance, Panic at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, you name it! As you glance to your left, you see a vast array of tee shirts, some with the YouTube star Fred, some from the hit books and movie Twilight, and some with cartoons! There are eye-catching band tees with bands from Katy Perry to The Beatles, from Paramore to My Chemical Romance! You can find classic rock, rap, alternative, modern rock, pop, virtually any genre of music—you can find a tee shirt with it on it! Hot Topic has unique, eye-popping skinny jeans with neons and animal prints! The jeans are all fashionable and great for any styles! You can get black, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink, white, regular denim, red, and every color on the color-wheel…Plus more! They also carry unexpected designs on bags, wallets, and jewelry that you wouldn’t think could look good on something! Who else could incorporate a Nintendo onto a wallet? Or Mario onto a tote? Hot Topic is the only store I’ve ever seen with such unique designs! Another thing about Hot Topic—they sell the most amazing tutus! These fluffy skirts come in all different colors, and are perfect to wear any Tuesday for Tutu Tuesday! Everyone is welcome to wear one, and no one will be wearing the same one! They come in pink with black, purple with green, pink with green, lime green, teal, pink, yellow, white, many more…even plaid! But, my favorite parts of the store are the accessories and Living Dead Dolls. The accessories vary from enormous bows to zipper-style earrings! The Living Dead Dolls are porcelain dolls—with a twist! These dolls are decked from head-to-toe in eerie clothes and they all have a charismatic story to go with them! There’s the Unwilling Donor doll, the Vanishing Hitchhiker doll, the Raven doll, based off of Edgar Allan Poe’s famous poem called The Raven, even dolls for Friday the 13th enthusiasts! They have Jason dolls, complete with a mask, tattered clothes, and penetrating eyes. Hot Topic not only has tutus and creepy dolls, they have clothing great for all styles! Once you look inside the store, you can see tee shirts with funny cartoons and your favorite characters. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, you can always consult one of the helpful employees! Their employees are friendly and kind to anyone and everyone, no matter what age, shape, size, or style! With Hot Topic’s wide selection of tops, shoes, skirts, shorts, jeans, tees, belts, suspenders, jewelry, perfume, and accessories, you could stay in there for hours on end! But one thing I don’t like about the store is the Twilight fan-memorabilia because the store doesn’t have as much other things because Twilight is taking up their spots. Another thing I don’t like is that the store only gets a majority of their Skelanimals products near the holidays, limiting when people can buy it. Overall, it’s a really great store to shop at for anything you need! If you like the store Max Rave, then you would love Hot Topic! Both stores carry neon clothes, animal print garments, skinny jeans, unusual attire, both have a charismatic and almost dark atmosphere. The only big differences between the two stores are that Hot Topic carries band tees and is more music-oriented, and is also for both genders, while Max Rave is for girls and also, the majority changes to every season, while Hot Topic stays generally the same for all four. If you want a store with a vast variety of clothes and accessories, then Hot Topic is the right place to shop! I give it 4 ½ stars! I would have rated it a 5, but I don’t like, as before mentioned, that the store is cluttered with Twilight clothes and accessories and that Skelanimals are only sold there two months from the whole year. Overall, this is a fantastic place to shop no matter what your age is! If you need any clothes, this is the place to go, with its immense variety and quick-moving lines; it’s my favorite store and it just might l be yours in the near future! - Thanks! Ahh, I just noticed that in the sentence that talks about perfumes I TOTALLY forgot commas. That's because I had just added the Gloomy Bear thing and I messed it up. I'm terrible in Word. Also, in my document, all the "Twilight"s, "Invader Zim"s, etc. are italicized. (Sp?) moreResolved Question: Why can black movies...?
be for all audiences too? Most people will come to see a caucasian movie, most people will come to see a japanese movie, but when it comes to blacks (even if it's pg-13) it's quickly labeled as a "black movie". Only some will come to see it, the movie will just get mixed reviews, & is less likely to be a box office success. Think Twilight would've been a success had both of the main characters been black? Thus (since i'm not tyler perry), I feel pretty down whenever I daydream about creating a black movie everyone will enjoy. Should I hang up this dream? :( btw, I wasn't trying to mean with my question...just feel a little down by the media. moreVoting Question: Help choosing the right Digital Camera?

The rays of the morning sun caught my face, I tried to avoid them but somehow i couldn't find the way. It was all over my room I sat up on my bed i looked at myself in the mirror in front of me, my hair looked perfectly untouched black and silky like it has always been, I had makeup on, Makeup? that's odd my eyes sparkling from the sun and my lips were red and full .The window, that's the sudden thought. I tried to get up and catch myself but my energy was so low. I turn to see the alarm and see that it hadn't rung yet. strange... it's 10:30 am. The window, hurry! -what is that? me? I walked slowly by my window ...Who is that? I saw a strange person. He was wearing a navy blue shirt, torn across the waist, and some khaki shorts that have dirt in most places, and black hair i didn't get to see all his features. I curiously just stare and wait.. until he starts ripping his t-shirt. What is he doing?! He started to shout out to the woods like something or someone was after him . His face changed from calm to furious and dangerous, his lips curled up, his teeth showed and his eyes stared intently at something in the woods. someone with a pale white complexion sprang out of the trees, he had the same furious expression on his beautiful face, his lips were thin and a color between red and purple, he couldn't bear to see him alive he wanted to kill. His eyes were a strange color something between brown and red? I tried to move and didn't find the strength. I felt like if i made the slightest move they would go running away. I don't care. I tried to open the window but I struggled and tried again. After my useless attempts i just gave up and looked back at the scene at the windows edge, but when i did... they're gone. Ring! Ring! Good morning Heast! Today is Saturday, and there is a probability of 40% snow, so take out your jackets, because it will be cold! "Ugh.." -I struggled to turn off the alarm- "Shut up!" turned it off. I sat on my bed. It took me a moment to push the two figures from my mind. It was only a dream, I told myself. It was only a dream... I repeated the line in my mind as if thinking it over and over would somehow make it more believable. But it didn't. A part of me knew that what I had just experienced had not been 'just a dream', but something more. Something important. Some part of me knew that it had been a sign. Theres the mirror i saw in my dream there's a girl with black silky hair, green eyes with long eye lashes, her face blushed by all the makeup worn from the night before. With a small sense of a tan, its me. "Galleria!" The sound came from downstairs, "I'm going out, I've left a note on the kitchen counter, Don't forget to read it! Okay?!" As soon as the front door closes I jumped to the radio and tuned it to my favorite radio station, and the volume to the max. I grabbed some raggedy clothes, put them on, and rush down stairs to the kitchen. There was a note of course, it said, "If you haven't noticed, tomorrow is my birthday honey, I don't blame you. But tomorrow I'm going to have a small reunion with some of my friends and their sons and daughters, so start picking out what you might wear. P.S. please clean up the place a little, I love you". Oh mom I'm sorry! A wave of guilt pollutes my body. Why didn't I go with her? I tried hard not to think about it. I decided since I didn't go to the mall with her, the least I could do it clean the place up. After all the scrubbing, sweeping, and sweating, I'm was finished. It took me about five precious hours, but mom would be satisfied with nothing to clean. I bounced on the couch and start flipping through the channels.Nothing but commercial, cheesy soap operas and movies from the past. After two whole hours searching for something to watch, I surrendered and decided to call Angela. I haven't talked to her since last Tuesday at her house, when I moved back here. "Hello?" "Hey is Angela home?" "Oh yes hold on sweetie" "Hello?" "Hey Angela it's me, Galleria. Um, I wanted to know if we could go somewhere I've been stuck in this house for days! And I need a shopping buddy to buy some school stuff for Monday." "Oh! Yes I forgot Monday school starts, of course! Of course! meet you at the store on the corner of 8th and Prince St., okay?" "Sure in about 15 minutes okay?" "Okay, okay bye." I hanged up and thought after all these years I still talk to my best friend Angela, since elementary we have been friends we did everything together we were unseperableand then one horrible day my mother told me we were moving by then i was in middle school and i remember that the last night i had to stay in Hearst she slept over and we cried together and made a promised that we would always stay best friends. So, I'm writing a story that's a lot different than what I normally do. It's about a girl who's friends die in an accident caused by a drunk driver. She decides to seek revenge and a long the way, you get to see her become slowly insane and obsessed with getting revenge on this guy. I got this idea when I was in the 6/7th grade (I'm in 11th grade now), but I'm rewriting the story to make it darker and longer than it was originally going to be. I do plan to review it again and get it published once I'm out of high school, so really, anything that's wrong with it, please point it out to me. This is the prologue. ------ An ordinary day, an ordinary life. The life of a 16 year old who just received her license. Seems great, right? Wrong. You will find out why soon Hey, the name’s Jessica Smith. I may look like your average blond-haired, skinny, green-eyed ditz, but trust me, I’m not. I had a great life. The life many dream of, in fact. Great friends, great family, perfect grades, no medical problems, you name it. I had recently received my license and me and my friends were planning to spend the whole Friday afternoon shopping in celebration. I could not wait! It all started after-school. I met up with my friend Josephine, Zoey, and Rachel. “Hey guys!” I called, walking to where they were waiting at. “Hey chauffeur!” Rachel responded, walking up to me, her blond hair blowing a bit in the wind and the other two following close behind. “Stop that Ray.” I said, digging out my keys from the purse. “So, where we goin’ first?” Josephine asked, playing with her brown hair. “Well, I thought we could hit up the mall and then stop by Arby’s for dinner, then go to the movie theater and catch the latest showing of that one new film. The Summoning, I think it’s called?” I said, walking toward the car with my friends. “Sounds good.” Rachel said. “Yeah, I’ve been dying to see that film since forever!” Zoey said. “Have any of you read the book?” I asked, curiously. “I have!” Josephine said excitedly. “I hope they don’t totally ruin it.” “Don’t they always? I mean, look at the third Harry Potter film.” I replied, unlocking the car and getting inside. “So true.” she said getting into the passengers seat as the others sat behind us. “So, which store should we hit up first?” I asked. “Definitely Macy’s. They’re having a sale on jeans today and the Lord knows I need new ones.” Ray said. “Ray, I don’t think the Lord really cares what jeans you wear, he’s more concerned with how the world is right now.” I said. “Jessica, don’t try to explain things to her. In Rachel’s mind, everything revolves around her looks.” Josephine said. “I don’t think that!” Rachel said as she kicked the back of Josephine’s seat. “Don’t deny it, Rachel.” Zoey said. “Whatever, you all are mean.” It took us about ten minutes to get to the mall and it took an additional twenty minutes to find a good parking space. Damn mall parking. And then, to add to that, Rachel took about an hour looking for the perfect pair of jeans. “I’m growing old here Rachel! See, look, I’ve even started growing gray hair!” I said sitting lazily on the benches for the fitting room. “SHUT UP!” she called back from one of the fitting rooms. “C’mon, Rachel! How long does it take to try on one pair of jeans?!” Zoey complained, blowing her black hair out of her face, a result of boredom. “An eternity if you keep complaining!” “You’re going to keep trying on jeans when you’re dead?” I asked. “Is that even possible?” Josephine asked, laying face down on the bench opposite me and Zoey. “Not by a long shot.” Zoey answered. “No wonder Rachel failed Biology last year.” I said. “I CAN HEAR YOU GUYS! SHUT UP!” “Then hurry up! We’ve been waiting on these benches for thirty minutes already!” Josephine called back. Just then, Rachel came out of the fitting room. “There, happy now? I’m done.” she said, putting the jeans into the basket with an attitude. “Finally.” we said in unison as we got up off the benches. We went to a few more stores after that and I got to buy some cute new outfits, some dvds of shows I like, and of course, new shoes. We went to Arby’s as we said we would do and I order a number one while the others all ordered a number 2. We talked about many things, ranging from boys, to the new stuff we got, to plain old family drama. We went to the movie theater and got front row seats “Guys, I think Rachel needs help carrying the popcorn and drinks.” I said, looking at Rachel struggling to make it through the door. “I’ll help her.” Zoey said, getting up to go and help Rachel. “Aww, I missed the previews.” Rachel said sadly as the movie’s title came on the screen.” “Previews are boring anyway.” Josephine said, grabbing her popcorn. “Not to me, I like them.” “Only you would like previews be better than the movie.” I said to her. “SSSSHHH” somebody in back of us hissed. Later that night, as we were going home from the theater, is when all hell broke loose and my life would change forever. A Toyota. A Honda. A drunk driver. Four teenage girls. One night. and three lives to be lost. ------ chapter 1 so far Beep Beep Beep Beep Very tired, I woke up in some weird room. I looked to my left and there was a machine checking my heart rate. To my right was an IV stand. I tried to sit up, but severe pain prevented me from doing that. I lifted my arm up and felt a bandage wrapped around my head. I then began to cry. What the hell happened to me? Where’s Zoey? Where’s Josephine? Where’s Rachel? My crying became louder “WHERE ARE MY FRIENDS?!” I screamed. A nurse that was passing by suddenly stopped and rushed into my room. She quickly checked my pulse and wrote something down on the clipboard. She then went off to do who knows what. I really didn’t care. I took the needle out of my arm and the things to the machine off my chest and persevering through the pain, I slowly got up. As soon as I got to the door, I saw a walker that somebody had left in the hallway. I went as quickly as I could to it and made it right before I nearly collapsed. “Zoey.” I said softly. “Josephine.” I said a bit louder. “Rachel.” I said, muffled by my sudden sob. “Where are you guys? I know you guys are here. Please answer me.” I cried, failing to hold back my tears. Somebody brushed past me. “Zoey?!” My head jerked up, hanging on to the little hope I had. “Oh my gosh, Jessica!” I heard a familiar voice say. “Josephine?!” I said, almost in disbelief. “No no honey. It’s me, mommy.” a woman said, putting her warm hands on my shoulders. “Momma? W-w-where’s Josephine?! W-where’s Zoey? Where’s Rachel?!” I turned around slowly, looking into my mother’s saddened eyes. All the sudden, something came back to me. It was dark. My friends were singing along to Concrete Angel by Martina McBride on the radio. All of the sudden there were bright lights to the side of me. And then...screaming. I broke out screaming. I couldn’t believe it. I wouldn’t believe it. Doctors forced me onto a bed and strapped me down to contain me. “NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!” I screamed at the top of my lungs. “Wwwwhhhyyy?! Wwwwhhyyyyy?! ZOEYYY! JOSEPHINE! RACHEL! WHYYYY?!” I then felt a sudden jab in my arm. My sobs slowed, my breathing became steadier, and my whole body began to relax as I slowly drifted off into a medical induced sleep. A few hours, maybe days, later, I woke up. I looked to my side and found that my mom had fallen asleep beside my bed. Remembering what had happened earlier, I began to hold back my tears. “Momma?” I managed to get out. My mom stirred beside me and woke up, rubbing her eyes a bit. She saw me looking at her, crying, and immediately brought me into a soft embrace. “Oh Jessica, I am so sorry.” “What happened to them?” I asked, quietly. “They...they were pronounced dead at the scene.” My mom said somberly. moreResolved Question: XFX 9800GTX+ Black Edition?

I have an essay due tomorrow on Romeo and Juliet (I picked my own topic). In my essay, I discuss how Baz Luhrmann (director of the 1996 film version) used scene and setting to mirror the characters' emotions. I would really appreciate it if someone would take the time to review it. I've been working on it for about a week, but if anyone has any pointers or thinks adjustments need to be made, I'll gladly take them into account. Thank you so much :) it is fairly long.. please bear with me In America, going to the movies is just as much of a pastime as baseball. Along with apple pie and Frank Sinatra, the family excursion to the movie theatre produces an unequaled joy. The buttery popcorn, the expensive candy, and even the crying babies are all too familiar. The best part is the feeling of settling into your seat right as a good film is about to start. Comedies, tragedies, romances, documentaries, and historical dramas are only a few of the many genres offered to movie-goers. Books and plays adapted to movies are always viewed with high expectations. Such is the case with the film adaptation of the Shakespearean play, Romeo and Juliet. In 1996, an Australian director, Baz Luhrmann, brought the 500 year old play to life on the modern silver screen. 12 years later and it’s still a sight to behold; a drama for the ages. Films that resonate with the audience are hard to find in this day and age, dramas especially. An Italian-American director, Frank Capra, sums up the experience of a drama when he says, “I made mistakes in drama. I thought drama was when actors cried. But drama is when the audience cries.” Romeo and Juliet is certainly a drama in which the viewers cry. Many aspects of the film draw audience members into the story. Creative costuming, captivating actors, and even descriptive setting all add to the general appeal. Baz Luhrmann’s use of setting portrays how the original Shakespearean characters’ emotions, such as anger, hatred, and despair, mirror the weather and venue at vital points in the development of the story. A contributing factor to Mercutio’s death is anger; not only Tybalt’s, but Mercutio’s as well. Both characters were proud of their birthplace and skill, and were angered over insults. In the film version of the scene, a storm is coming in just as the fight begins. As the fight escalates, so does the storm. The storm’s growth reflects the anger building inside Mercutio and Tybalt. As Mercutio stumbles to the ground, dying as he struggles to the water’s edge, he repeatedly says, “A plague o’ both your houses” (III. I. 95.)! At that point, as his words express, he is overcome with anger and sadness. The winds pick up as he falls, symbolizing his dying strength. While watching, there is no doubt as to what is happening because of the expressive symbolism. In a way, the storm also represents Mercutio’s life as a whole. He was usually in a drunken state of rage, and even in his joking moments there was an underlying anger that was expressed on many occasions. In the eye of the storm that was his life stood his best friend and confidant, Romeo. The only thing that stopped Mercutio from destroying his life at an early point in his life was Romeo’s intervention. It’s interesting that the one person who could save Mercutio from his own destructive and angry behavior is the one who ended up spurring his demise. He was dying as he entered the fight, dying as the storm brewed, dying every day that his anger took control of his life. Mercutio’s entire life was one big fight; one big storm of emotion. Tybalt didn’t help this. In fact, he was a cause of Mercutio’s endless anger; Tybalt’s name is synonymous with trouble. The feud between the Capulet and Montague families was a large part of Mercutio’s life, and he was proud to represent the Montagues. Like Mercutio, Tybalt also represented his family, the Capulets, with pride. This clash of similar souls was doomed to end badly from the beginning; their clashing swords alike to the flashing lightning and booming thunder of the approaching storm. Hatred is a recurring theme throughout the story of Romeo and Juliet, and it is the emotion that instigates Romeo to seek and destroy Tybalt after the death of Mercutio. The scene in the film is filled with raw emotion and symbolism. The depth of Romeo's emotions is expressed after he learns of Mercutio's death. He says, "This day's black fate on more days doth depend; this but begins the woe, others must end" (III. i. 126-127.). Here he embodies his intent to avenge Mercutio's death with the death of Tybalt. It is through his anger and impulsive nature that he decides to pursue him. While a rational person would think about the consequences, Romeo is so filled with hatred and anger that he let his emotions take control of his mind. In the film, this scene is portrayed as a car chase. The storm continues to brew after Mercutio’s death, and as th The storm continues to brew after Mercutio’s death, and as the pursuit begins, it breaks. The emotions on the actors’ faces perfectly embody the original intent of the play. Romeo is filled with hatred and sadness, while Tybalt is experiencing deep regret and anger. The torrential rain falling on Verona symbolizes the tears of anger, hatred, and sadness all throughout the city. On that day, many people experienced the loss of two prominent members of Verona. Many knew Mercutio, and depending on the person, he was a son, friend, enemy, or lover. His family and friends mourned him. No matter how malicious Tybalt was to the Montague family and supporters, he was beloved by his fellow Capulets. He too was mourned by many, as a cousin, nephew, son, and friend. The rain pouring from the sky truly represents the multitude of tears and broken hearts in Verona. Romeo was not the only person affected by the deaths. Unfortunately, he was too wrapped up in his hatred to think about the think about the effects of his actions in pursuing Tybalt. This combined with his already impulsive nature proved to yield a deadly outcome. That dark and stormy night would prove to be the scene for one of Romeo’s most regretted actions. Banishment. Despair. These two words go hand in hand in striking fear in the hearts of Verona’s citizens. Therefore it is to be expected that Romeo is upset over his sentence, but he goes too far by comparing it to death. He reacts over-dramatically when he says, "Ha, banishment! Be merciful, say ‘death’; For exile hath more terror in his look, Much more than death: do not say ‘banishment’" (III. iii. 15-17.). Even before he leaves the city he is in a state of despair and hopelessness. In Baz Luhrmann's portrayal of the Mantua, Romeo's place of banishment, he depicts it as a desert camp where trailers and tumbleweed abound. It is a place where nothing can grow or flourish. The dry air and ground show no hint of moisture, and the plants and the plants that thrive in these harsh conditions are uninviting and covered in thorns. Romeo is depicted alone in the middle of this desert camp. He is completely alone not only in his banishment, but in his mind. He has said that he would rather die than be banished, but he is already dead on the inside. He walks around the camp, fighting his way through air that's thick and stagnant. Despair clouds his judgment not only externally, but internally. The air outside reflects his pathway of thoughts inside. Every hope has died, and his mind is clouded and dim. He refuses to see how anything good could come of his banishment, regardless of the fact that he is alive and not dead. He is so despaired over his actions and sentence that no hope or optimism could enter his thoughts. He seemed to be fighting a war inside himself, a war only he knew about, and a war he was losing. Part of him wants to live and hope to be with Juliet, but the bigger part tells him that it was useless that it was useless wanting that because his life was over. Because of his lack of optimism, Romeo sinks deeper and deeper into despair. He’s so sure that banishment is worse than death, and believing this misconception, he gives up and slowly begins to dig his grave in Mantua. It is because of his reluctance to look on the bright side of his predicament that he reacts harshly and recklessly at later points in the story, leading to his death. The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet is filled with raging emotions. Among the passion between the two lovers is a wide range of feelings. Anger, hatred, and despair are a few notable recurring emotions. Each character experiences a mix of the three, some stronger than others. It is apparent that Mercutio has his fair share of trouble created largely by his barely suppressed anger, and Tybalt brings about his own death by his extreme hatred. In a series of events leading to his death as well as Juliet’s, Romeo is gripped by despair and hopele hopelessness. All of these emotions create negative drama and excitement, but along with joy and love, they are a part of human nature. Dramas have a tendency to create scenarios caused by rash and small decisions, such as the choice to turn left instead of right. Throughout the drama of Romeo and Juliet, these small decisions grip the reader, and they are found smacking their heads at the seeming stupidity of whatever certain character is changing the plot. But no matter how ridiculed these emotions and their effects are, they are the defining qualities of the story, and entirely human. In the film, they are even more exemplified by the reflection in scenery and setting. These visual aides add greatly to the understanding of the story and characters. In a stunning turn of events, Baz Luhrmann created a memorable film to cater to the needs of multitudes of Americans looking for a good drama. Not only was it a good drama, but it was a lasting one as well. Generations from now, Generations from now, people will watch the film in their own homes, rather than the theatre smelling of popcorn and baby burp-up, and revel at the inventive vision Baz Luhrmann brought to the original play. It is movies like this that people remember; movies that people want to watch on a rainy Friday afternoon, warm and snug in a blanket on the couch. Romeo and Juliet is more than a film, it’s a way for people to understand each others’ emotions: emotions that are human through and through. moreResolved Question: Who will win the Academy Award 4 Short Film (Animated)?
The nominees are... "La Maison En Petits Cubes" "Lavatory - Lovestory" "Oktapodi" "Presto" "This Way Up" "Lavatory - Lovestory" - I have found it, presumably all 9 mins & 39 secs of it. Kinda a simple black & white "Fido Dido" cartoon w/ "Family Guy" eyes & u only c colours in the flowers. Spectacular Russian-made film w/ beautiful endin'. "Oktapodi" - I thought I was lookin' @ the trailer, but according 2 Wikipedia, the movie is that short - 2:27. Another love story amongst two mollusks set in Greece or something. It has the wit & charm of a Disney or Looney Tunes cartoon but also the 3D animation, illustrations, & music sophistic8d enough 2 b a Oscar nominee. Another splendid work of cinematic art. (Spoiler ahead.) When the C-gull snatched 1 octopus & the other one launched itself from the clothesline, I found that hard 2 believe it was "The End." "Presto" - Uh oh. What timin' that I went from that description in "Oktapodi" 2 a Disney/Pixar short cartoon. Walt Disney may steal the show if this may win the Oscar along w/ "Wall-E," which apparently I can c on the "Wall-E" DVD & not have 2 watch it on YouTube. But u gotta give "Presto" credit. State of the art animation w/ brilliant artwork & that old fashioned cartoon charm & comedy. & I'm pretty sure that doesn't look 2 much like the Trix rabbi so General Mill's attorneys can rest EZ. A good cartoon short, but I don't think a Oscar is necessary. "La Maison en Petits Cubes" - There's only the trailer on YouTube. No review. "This Way Up" - Same thing; just the trailer. According to the YouTube comments, you can download the whole film on iTunes. Thought about it, but I'm not that interested. No review. So which cartoon did you like? I take it u guys that saw "Wall-E" saw "Presto," 2? Who watched "This Way Up" or "La Maison En Petits Cubes"? Now I know these are two complete different television sets but these are my top choices for a new set this year. I know all the specs already for each tv, have expert reviews and customer reviews as well for both TV's, and have seen them in person already I love the deep black levels of the elite but also love the smooth motion and feel to the 240hz refresh rates. IDK which one to purchase if they were to combine the deep black levels of a plasma with the great motion flow technology that would be an easier choice to make...... The room it will be placed in will have medium ambient light but I can easily close the shaded to make it relatively dark, will be watching sports, Blu-ray movies, and TV mostly on this set so I'm not too worried about a burn in plasmas. Please let me know which one you prefer, and why. (however please do not just say "oh because I like Sony better or pioneer better or say plasmas are better or lcd is is better LCD's and plasmas have their plusses and minuses I know, so.... give me legitimate and honest reasons and links to websites would be a plus) Thanks. moreResolved Question: Photographers, Camera People, I need Your Help?

I am typing a story. I need and opinion. please rate it 1-5. It isnt done but if want a copy when it is just give me your email. Preface I stood there looking completely helpless. As the scent of roses and blood fills the air. Everything around me has gone black. All there is is one light. Light that seems to be hundreds of miles away. I can feel the sweat dripping down my face. Cold and sticky. The voices are so loud and constant. I’m scared, but not for me. I’m scared for my family and friends. Although they are the same people. The whole town is stuck in this hole because of me. Everyone is screaming. Yelling in fear, anger, and sadness. We all know at some point tonight we are going to die. Whether it be torturing or fast and painless we don’t know. The Larets like to mix up every death. Just the name makes me shiver in fear. That’s what they like best. They like it when their prey are scared they can taste it in them. Oh no! They took another. Another one of us gone. If I hadn’t missed that one day of volleyball none of this would be happening. I wouldn’t have ran into Joseph Laret. He wouldn’t have found my blood so irresistible. He wouldn’t have stayed. Killing a whole town. Population of Garentol, Iowa is 2,500. Small town but more excitement than in a big city. Now all our hopes are dead. Along with our bodies and souls. I won’t have my volleyball career. My best friend Melissa won’t be able to get a medical degree. My boyfriend won’t be able to go to Harvard and get his law degree and be a national lawyer. My dad’s store will eventually just crumple from not being taken care of. No one is safe but of course no one knows I’m the one that caused all this. Of course everyone thinks I was at volleyball doing what I was supposed to. No one knows I skipped and I accidentally told Joseph the people of Garentol’s secrets. What makes them scared or what makes them break down and cry. Now lets go back so that you can see what has actually happened to cause all this. See what happened just two quick months ago. Chapter one: Volleyball “ Hey Jane! Ready for practice?” Melissa asked. Melissa is my best friend. She has been since second grade. We met when she moved here to Garentol. I was coloring when I heard her crying. She was sitting in the corner hugging her teddy bear, Justin. I felt bad for her so I went over and asked her what was wrong. She said she was homesick and missed her friends. So I told her I would be her new friend. All year we shared crayons and animal crackers. Sitting together on movie days and having sleepovers every weekend. Even to this day we still do everything together. Having sleepovers every Friday night. “ Yulp, but you know we are going to have to run. We lost bad last night. Really it’s like all our bodies were taken over by I don’t know unathletic people.” Last night we played against the Yorker trolls. I know our whole school laughs at their name every time we hear their name. Somehow we lost to them 10-22. Neither me or Melissa understands how. They can’t play worth crap. Yet we lost. “ I know. How could that happen. Mrs. Toren looked like she wanted to kill us. In fact when I saw her today in P.E. she still looked like she wanted to kill everyone. Considering her only way to kill us is to make us run. I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what she is going to do.” She laughed as she said this. She always made jokes before she knew we were going to do something painful. Like the time we were about to go down the longest water slide in the world. We knew it was going to hurt when we fell in the pool. So right before she got on she made a joke about us being mermaids. “ Well we better put our books in our lockers and hurry to the gym. Otherwise we’ll be late and have to run more. Come on mine’s closer it’s only down the hall. Your’s is all the way across the school.” I said walking towards my locker. Our school is divided into four sections. One section for each grade. Melissa and I our sophomores. So our section is the second section. The gym however is in the senior section. My locker number is actually my lucky number with one added number 222. Melissa’s is number is 276. We usually go to my locker first anyway before we go to the parking lot and drive in my car. Melissa wasn’t born until December and I was born in February. So she still doesn’t have her license. Today we unfortunately we had practice right after school. That means we don’t have time to go eat before. The whole team almost always goes to McDonalds before practice. McDonalds is the only fast food place in our whole town. The town of Garentol is unnaturally small. One fast food place, one clothes store, one grocery store, one thrift store, and one tiny mall. Although we can’t really call it a mall. It’s like a 6 room house. 6 stores. Basically just useless stores. So I put my books in my l sorry the last sentence was supposed to say i put my books in my locker. anyway please help i want to know if its goods enuff to finish It was originally in paragraphs but i just copy and pasted. Actually it about witches. But the larets are vamps. in the end everyone finds out the town is really filled with witches. moreResolved Question: on rogers on demand i went to go preview a movie and now its stuck on a black screen that says review starting?

its been quite awhile now, but I think its Kate hudson....theres a sexy girl (possibly Hudson) in a tight black dress, i swear shes laying on a bed...i dont recall now if there was a nude scene, but you can totally see that the girl does not have any Hollywood style surgery, she doesnt have a perfect stomach, nor large breasts, but she was notablye beautiful..unfortunately, this is all I remember ! LOL..i know that this could be a multitude of people, but i figure if the person who i think was kate hudson struck me this way, she probably struck alot of people this way, and maybe i can have some movies to hunt for. I swear she plays a sexy role, is wearing a sexy type dress, and i think there may have been a nude scene....the catching point was that her body was beautiful, and there was no apparent surgery....thats the cool part...anyways...cmon, help me out here, its a brain itch for me. ps. i looked up someones review of Skeleton Key, and they mention that Kate Hudson was beautiful, not in a hollywood way, but a girl next door way, that she doesnt have the 'typical' type surgeries...so that would go in line for me.. anyone know what im talking about, or is this the typpical yahoo ask question....you know..."i am looking for the movie with the guy...and hes shooting a gun" lol... anyways...shooot me some possibles people. thanks moreResolved Question: What do you think of this?
okay so please dont be too harsh its my first time writing a story. please read and review. please and thanks :) I was late. My dad was going to kill me. He needed all the family to help with this job, the biggest job of his career. My dad is a caterer (as well as owning 3 Restaurants in Fairfield), and he’s been hired by the production company making the new film ‘Heartbreakers’ thats filming at my High School during the holidays. I hadn’t wanted to help, which confused everyone I knew. I had a chance to be up close and personal with the cast and crew without looking like a crazy fool. But i didn’t really care. The movie is loosely based on ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’. A ‘modern interpretation’, which means they’re going to ruin one of my favorite plays. Perhaps if they were filming a worthwhile film I’d be interested. But I’m not. I’m not your average teenage girl. It comes with living around 3 brothers and having a crazy art-loving, anti-establishment grandmother who brainwashes you into hating mainstream things against your mothers will! As i was saying. I was late. I’d supposed to be at the school, on set, by 10AM to help dad set up (using his kids is cheaper than hiring more people). But I’d gone to visit Gramma Evans and we got a bit sidetracked when she decided that her living room needed redecorating. She likes to change things regularly. She’s kooky like that. So, i was running down the road, my shoulder bag hitting against my hip painfully, out of breath. I wasn’t looking where i was going and, just my luck, bumped into someone running quite fast, and fell to the ground, hitting my head pretty hard on the cold, hard concrete. “Ow.” I whined quietly, everything black and the back of my head aching. “Don’t move.” Came a distinctly male voice. “You might have really hurt yourself.” I felt a hand move under my head, and touch the tender spot. “Ow.” “Sorry.” “I need to get...” I opened my eyes, everything was blurry, “Up... go... now.” “You need to stay still.” “No. I need to go.” I said. I pushed myself up, his arm slipped around my waist and he pulled me up. I touched the back of my head, “Ouch. That smarts.” “You should sit down.” I opened my eyes again, and let my eyes adjust. Thats when I saw him. thats because it is a teenage story written by a teenager. it took me forever till i thought i had every correction i could get. like a whole week. cause i had other stuff to do too. moreResolved Question: can someone explain to me this dream i had a few days ago...?
i dreamed that i was in this big modern yet homey. it was dark outside & it was raining with lightning & loud thunder. i was sleeping, all of a sudden i heard this sound & i opened my eyes slowly scaning the room...the someone puts a hand on my mouth & says"shhh...jay someone is trying to kill us" i didn't know that person, i think it was a guy...he looked just like robert pattinson from the movie twilight, then i look at a corner then i see this figure, it was a man dressed in black with a black winter coat. so me & this unknown guy ran down stairs, but then another creepy man appeared infront of me & he said "we're gonna kill you jay" & i said "no your not" & i punched him in the face & he died, but then my & this unknown guy heard footsteps coming from up so we knew it was the other man....so this unknown guy who was next me said "let's go from the back door" i nodded so he held my hand & ran to the back door which was dark out side...we saw another black figure walking around the back yard holding a lamp & a knife. I freaked & said "we're trapped inside the house" & the guy told me "not yet...we still have the front door, if we can make it in time" as he said that he looked around & saw the man's shadow on the wall so me & the guy tipped toe to the other side of the kitchen i don't even know how we got there but we did..so we ran carefully & quietly to the front door we saw this Chevrolet car & the suns light started to appear a little but it was still dark...so me & the guy started to walk over the car some how i had the key's in my hand so i got into the drivers seat & started to drive, the guy was next to me...as i was driving i told the guy " i don't understand why they want to kill us...well mostly me...i don't even know you & you know who i am, i don't even know how to drive & i am driving as if i knew how...what the hell is going on? & how did i end up in that house?" i looked at him & tears started to fall from his eyes "its hard to explain....its a long story but my job now is to get you somewhere safe...." he said to me...i looked at him "you look like robert pattinson" i told him..."someone is behind us " he told me i looked at the review mirror & the man was kinda flying behind us & said in this scary voice " your not going anywhere alive" & i started driving fast but then the door next me started to open, i tried to close it but it just wouldn't close & that's when i woke up....im so confused...will someone explain it to me... moreResolved Question: Question about twilight/eclipse!!!?

Is there subliminal racism in the cast of The Mummy Returns? I know it’s just a movie. However, there are a lot of people, especially children, who are visual learners and they sometimes believe what they see if it fits their reality. In these two movies "The Mummy" and the Mummy Returns," the entire cast is European and a couple that are of Middle Eastern descent. The Pharaohs and Egyptians that were in the movie had NO tan whatsoever. They were pale-skinned Europeans portraying Ancient Egyptians. I was very disturbed because this is not how the people of that time portrayed themselves. They had brown to dark brown and even black skin tones in their tombs to identify themselves. I'm not trying to make this a debate of the Ancient Egyptians race, I’m just tired of seeing the lies in these movies. The second movie, "The Mummy Returns," is what I really wanted to talk about. The guy with the long black in the movie that says he is a Medjay is white (I will leave you Wikipedia to see who they were). The real Medjay were Nubians. The world has NO problem saying that the Nubians were African. So, why have a white person playing a black Nubian. My guess is to confuse the people of the truth. The new movie that came out, "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" portrays all of its mummy characters as Asian. The people of Asia would have a fit if they had any other race playing an Asian. Why does this standard disappear when it comes to Africa? Millions of people saw "The Mummy Returns" and I wonder how many of them questioned the truth to it. The movie made $433,013,274 Worldwide. crepúsculo was awesome! i went to see it on the 21st at 4:20. =] my twilight movie review. the movie was alright. compared to the book it was terrible. when bella walks into the forest and edward follows her...that's just retarded. when edward was suuposed to be dazzling with his sparkly skin, he was freaking me out. as kate said, "he looked like a fish...a really hot fish." lol funny sister. annyway, the kissing scene was a little weird. the first kiss is not supposed to be in bella's room, with bella in her underwear, and...idk it was just not bella like. i loved rosalie and emmett. "my monkey man"! awesome. the baseball scene was my favorite. i was really lookinh forward to the meadow scene, but i was really disappointed. :[ I LOVED it when alice appeared at the Cullen house and when she ripped James' head off! it was so awesome. i love alice. she's the best. i laughed so hard when Emmett and Edward went to catch the ball at the same time and hit eachother mid air. lol. it was funny when Rosalie asked, "is she even italian?" and emmett said, "well her name's bella." =] even though it wasn't as alike to the book as i would have wanted it to be, it was still awesome! it was Twilight. I just kept repeating that in my head. Oh! I also like it when charlie was cleaning his gun and bella says that edward wants to meet him and that he's outside right now. charlie clicks the gun closed and says bring him in.; i was laughing sooooooo much. and when Billy Black was saying things like chillax and keepin it real. lmao!! i hope they make a new moon, eclipse, and breaking dawn. but i hope they use proper Renesme technology if they make breaking dawn. it would be really freaky if they have a normal toddler there with some grown womans voice dubbed in. it would be like that creepy commercial with the baby with the man's voice. you know, the one where the baby throws up. creepy. but, im deffinitly going to see twilight again in theatres! i have two movie passes, but i have to wait two weeks to use them. =/ oh well, i can wait. and when the Twilight DVD comes out i am sooo getting it! peace.love.twilight. <3 how did you feel about the movie? kate is my sister. moreResolved Question: black jeans with studs all around them?

Comments? Corrections? Its for the school newspaper. Thanks! In the past vampires have been placed in the stab-with-a-stake-at-midnight category. It was believed that vampires hated garlic and slept in coffins all day. Forget all the myths because every single one of them will be shattered as the Twilight saga comes to life starting with page one. Boy meets Girl. Boy falls in love with Girl. Girl becomes vampire. Sike! Too bad it is not that simple. Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight saga is the story of two teenagers, Edward and Bella, falling in love. The story of Twilight is told by ‘Bella’ Swan. Bella makes the most boring, but life-changing decision by moving to live with her father in Forks, Washington. From the moment she glimpses Edward in the cafeteria of Forks High School the two are tied together with an unbreakable bond through love, lies, fights, four books and 2,480 pages of text. The romance between Edward and Bella is both touching and heart-gripping. At one point readers are thrust into Bella’s fight for survival, enhancing the action that made the story interesting in the first place. This book was easy to read, unlike many classic novels. Despite the love story, which appeals to girls, the action and fantasy part will keep the guys reading. Bella’s infatuation with Edward and Edwards’s inner struggle is the main draw of the story. Twilight is awesome. When first seeing the cover, the red apple on a pale skinned hand did not seem remarkable. But after reading on, the significance of the colors and tones, along with the apple was apparent. The size of the books and their covers are intimidating and tend to push light readers away. As the saying goes, ‘don’t judge a book by its cover.’ Bella and Edward reunite in the second novel, New Moon, with just as much passion as they ended with in Twilight. However, this part of the saga was disappointing. The novel starts out with a heart-breaking separation between the two lovers, after a disastrous 18th birthday party for Bella. Edward is Bella’s entire world, and his departure is a callous blow to Bella. As a way to cope, Bella runs to family friend, Jacob Black, and the two of them together tackle her sorrows. With old motorcycles, and cliff diving, Meyers reveals a side of Bella the readers have not seen before and is ill-received by some for being too dark, veering from the romantic part of the story. This novel, compared to Twilight, is a disappointment for the “Team Edward” fans. For those who are “Team Jacob” fans, this is the best out of the four. For teens already hooked on the Twilight books, Eclipse is crucial to read. Eclipse begins with Bella’s approaching graduation. A constant debate over Bella’s mortality is thrown back and forth across the pages. The love triangle between Jacob, Bella and Edward also creates a conflict. Bella has to fight for her life and decide which life she wants to lead. The third book is almost a waste of text. No new characters are added and there is little character growth. The whole story was mainly about Bella, Edward and Jacob’s weird connection. Instead of publishing this book, Meyer should have combined the crucial parts of Eclipse into the beginning of Breaking Dawn. The final novel in the Twilight saga is Breaking Dawn. This novel wraps up Edward and Bella’s love story. At this point, readers hope Bella and Edward will be together for eternity. Without Bella being as immortal as her husband, the future seems bleak. With a much anticipated fight, the Voluturi, and surprises along the way, the newlyweds are busy. The book as a whole was rich in vivid details, extremely romantic and worth staying up until 3 a.m. to finish. When she began the saga, Meyer only intended to write Twilight and Forever Dawn. She then decided to split the second book into three novels. After reading all three books and seeing the character developments, Meyer could have left the saga as two novels instead of four. Now that the entire series has been published, Summit Entertainment is releasing the much anticipated Twilight movie. It will arrive in theaters Nov. 21. The movie is sure to fall short of the book because all of the action, suspense and romance cannot all be jammed into a two hour production. Though the movie may not live up to the book, Twilight fans will find the movie to be worth $10.50. But seriously, go read the book. Its about 625 words... its is a dominant story on the Entertainment page and 600 was the required amount of words. Sorry if you found it lengthy! Sike means JUST KIDDING (kinda) I have to be objective on a book review. Of course its going to be personal because it is a REVIEW. in my first draft, there were many other parts of the story that i gave away.. but i edited them out. Thanks for the reviews! Help me edit this Review! Please and Thank-you!?
For the balance of the movie, the movie bases itself around, back and white solidarity. Billy, has the notion that, white ethnic players prefer to win first, and look good second. Where black ethnic players, are the ladder, Billy believes, black players prefer to look good first, and win second. For example, Billy believes the whole motive behind all the risky moves, and slam-dunks, is just to look good. As far as educational content goes, their isn’t much “right in your face” to learn. But, if one takes a closer look their is some morals of the movie to be learned, as all movies a lesson to be learned. The major dilemma with Billy is, he has gambling issues, and this damages his relationship with Gloria over time, and eventually kills the relationship. Billy had 3-strikes, before he stroke out. He lost the money they were saving three times, putting them in an financial deficit. If Billy, could have put the gambling aside, and get a job like a normal human being, then it could have saved his relationship with Gloria. With that being said, the movie shows an excellent example how karma, always seems to catch up with people at some point. Finally, the most obvious educational theme for the movie is black and white solidarity. This movie shows an excellent example of how white and black players have their synergies, because too much of one thing can have its disadvantages. For example, Sidney excelled at getting around his opponents, and is skilled at near the basket game play. While Billy, excels more at distant shooting, and passing the ball. The script, courtesy of Shelton, is filled with slangs, witty, and fiery tough talking on the courts. With the mixture of seriousness and humor presented by the two protagonists, make this film an average comedy. If you’ve watched “Wesley Snipes” play other roles such as, in the movie “Blade”, it seems like Snipes is having a lot of fun with this role. The major upset for Shelton in this film is it the plot and sub-plots having various loop holes, and furthermore lacks continuity. The movie will provide entertainment value if the viewer is seeking a comedy, and drama genre, and isn’t to concerned with the plot. If the viewer is seeking a more serious, well structured plot, in regards to basketball, some other suggestions would be: “Hoop Dreams, or “Hoosiers”. Although the movie does lack some elements of a great basketball movie, the fiery, slangy dialogue, and flashy action keep the viewer watching. The movie all in all, is about an eight out of ten. It lacked a good basketball plot, but the comedy, and drama that took place in the film, kept the movie playing. Some of the elements shown in this movie, attempt to show resemblance of the film, “The Hustler”. But, sadly, doesn’t scale up quite as well. “Wesley Snipes” and “Woody Harrelson” make a good pair together, not quite as well as “Robert De Niro” and “Al Pacino”, or “Eastwood” and “Pallach”. Lastly, the movie should’ve had a better structured plot, a lot of the time the viewer questions their self, “huh? Where is the closure to that episode?” The movie felt too reliant on its dialogue moreResolved Question: Horror movie reviews?
